Michelin Cyclocross Jet™

Whether you choose to use it front and back or mated to a more aggressive front tire, the Cyclocross Jet™ semi-slick tire is just the ticket for getting more speed out of your 'cross bike. It features our now legendary low profile Silica Energy tread with aggresssivley chiseled shoulder knobs. You get a refined balance of straightline efficiency when you just want to roll fast, and traction when you need it most - diving through corners or climbing out of ruts.

  ESC  /  FB  /  HPRS  /  SW  /  SE

ESC: Extra Supple Casing– highly flexible, cross-ply carcass with 127 TPI (420 threads/dm²) cord density, a technology used in top-of-the-line tires that helps them achieve the highest levels of performance.

FB: Flexible beads (foldable tires)

SE: Silica Energy – Rubber mix reinforced with 100% silica for an optimized balance between rolling resistance and grip. Silica also helps shed mud in off-road applications.

HPRS: High Protect Rim System – Protective strip that protects the bead area against wear from the rim. The HPRS is used on all flexible-bead Michelin® tires.

SW: Lightweight skinwalls, with casing plies surrounded by a thin coat of rubber.
